Sledding Gnomies

Hi Crafty Friends,
Digi Doodle Studios is having a Christmas in July Challenge and I wanted to inspire you to join in the fun! These cuties are called "Sledding Gnomies"  and I covered them in glitter! I stenciled a glitter paste background and used Stickles on their hats, gloves, and beards. Join the challenge HERE and head to the Digi Doodle Studio Facebook Page for more fun challenges! And of course I have some DARLING sledding pictures of my nephew to go along with my card (see below).

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: When is the last time you went sledding?
A: Me? I think high school.... 1999?

  2. Really cute card. I like the background that you made. The beards are really great--hair is hard to color (for me).

  8. Such a cool background. And I love all the sparkle going on. I have never been sledding. I've lived in So. FL my entire life so no snow here. Except for snow flurries back in 1977! lol

  9. This card is so cool. I always forget to use my glitter paste and this gives me a reminder to pull it out. Cute sledding pics. I think the last time I went sledding was with my daughter's girl scout troop in 2014ish. Thanks for playing along with The Crafter's Cafe Challenge blog!!

  10. Super cute card!! Love the gnomies in all their sparkle and the background you created. Your Nephew looks so darling all bundled up and that smile just lights up the world. Much younger me with a big group of friends tied our sleds to the back of a truck after a fresh snow and hit the back roads. The most fun I ever had!! The driver took it slow.

  23. Fabulous card and beautiful nephew, Meghan! I remember a tobogganing trip with my church youth group more than 50 years ago. Not long after that, I moved to Florida from upstate New York and traded in the toboggan for water skis.
