Nordic Skating Bear

Hi Crafty Friends,
I wish I could skate as well as this Poppy Stamps Nordic Skating Bear 2750. He is cruising around the ice with his little buddy Poppy Stamps Nordic Sitting Bear 2758 watching on the sidelines.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Have you gone ice skating this winter?
A: Me? Yes, with my niece and nephew

Step #1: I started my card by die cutting my Polar Bears from the Poppy Stamps Rainbow Reflections Mirror Paper Pad FP1003 and Poppy Stamps Lagoon Paper Pad SP1010.

Step #2: I created my elegant snow like background using Poppy Stamps Diamond Oval Pinpoint Die 2757 and mounting it on blue cardstock.
Step #3: I add the bears to the pond and snow and finished my card with Poppy Stamps Warm Wishes Cheerful Script Die 2755 and mounted it on the shiny blue cardstock to match  the bear's skates.

  1. Meghan, you’ve done a great job with these Nordic bears, and all of the Poppy Stamps products. That background stencil is perfect for this set too. I also really love the colors that you’ve chosen. There’s just something nice about blue for winter. I have not gone ice-skating this year and it quite honestly it’s probably been since I was little since I have gone, but one thing I do like is to watch ice-skating in the Olympics, so that must count for something!😅 thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We always enjoy seeing your work!
