I wanted to use some NEW Angel Wing Dies I got awhile ago but have not been able to come up with a good card idea for them. I finally just decided to play around and see what happened. Here is what I came up with. It can be a sympathy card, encouragement, Valentine, it's versatile!

I Love You S'More

Hi Crafty Friends,
Who says Valentine's Cards have to be all cuddly bears and cupids? I think PINK Penguins are PERFECT for Valentine's Day! Wouldn't it be amazing if Pink Penguins existed? I had so much fun with this S'more Love stamp set from Reverse Confetti. The background is a NEW die cut plate from Birch Press Designs called Cherish Layer B and I took the pink hearts from the inside of the die and POPPED them up! Then finished it off with the sentiment on a banner die from Kat Scrappiness! Hope you have someone special this Valentine's Day to share S'MORE LOVE!

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am in Valentine Card mode. It's one of my favorite holidays to make cards because pink and red are my FAVORITE colors! Here is a cute set from Paper Smooches called Boom Bots! I just think they are darling. We live in a time where robots are starting to take over everything so I'm just hoping when they do, they will be as cute as this guy!

Grumpy About Love Owl

Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm going to be honest. I'm a single dog mom. So I'm a little skeptical about this whole "LOVE" thing. At least LOVE with someone other than my PUPPY, Maddie ;) These days everything seems to be online and I'm not a "Tinder" "Match" person, I listen to way to many True Crime podcasts for that! So I made this card because I LOVE this owl's face. He's like "Ain't no one got time for this online dating mess"

Weather Getting You Down? Feel Better Soon

Hi Crafty Friends,
How is the weather where you are at? I live in Chicago, so we have freezing cold and WIND! We also got 4 inches of snow yesterday. Not bad ;) I was inspired by the bad weather this weekend to make this little tag. I swear everyone I know is getting the cold and flu this month from WINTER whether your winter is snow, rain, or just cold. I need a lot of Get Well Cards. Tiddly Inks Cocoa Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends!
It's cold and snowy here in Chicago, we got 4 inches of snow today which isn't that bad but add 25 degrees and 20mph winds...BRRRR! I decided to color up this cutie from Tiddly Inks Stamps "Cocoa Wishes" because it is exactly what I want to do right now. Cuddly up with a delicious cup of cocoa. One of my favorite color combos is RED and BLUE together and since it's winter what better than BLUE HAIR! I am also using this post to apply for the Tiddly Inks Design Team! WISH ME LUCK! You Color My World!

Hi Crafty Friends!
With the "BIG" holidays over it's time to focus on the "LITTLE" ones or what some people call "Hallmark" holidays. First up, VALENTINE'S DAY! The LOVE of my LIFE is my puppy Maddie but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate! Pink and Red are my FAVORITE colors so this is my favorite holiday for creating cards! This was a quick and simple card to make.

A: Me? I love Christmas and Valentine's Day because as I mentioned above I LOVE the color RED!

I started with this darling stamp set from C.C Designs "Nerdy" and just stamped the pencil and the crayon.

I colored them with copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen:
Yellows: Y08, Y15, Y17
Reds: R22, R24, R29
Pinks: RV02, RV23
Earths: YR00, E11

Then I used my Misti to stamp the cute little faces on them.

Next, I took my white cardstock from PaperTrey Ink and cut the 81/2 x 11 in half to make my card base. Then I used a Bo Bunny Heart Stencil to create the border of hearts using a Ranger blending tool and  Candy Apple Red Distress Ink Oxide.

You can see a little red smudge on the left... I just used my white gel pen to cover my mistake. Then I used my Kat Scrappiness Stitched Rope Nested Rectangle Die to cut my Doodle Bug Patterned Paper also from the Kat Scrappiness Store to fit the inside of my heart frame.

I glued that in the middle of my card then added my pencil and crayon characters. I got my Misti back out to add the sentiments and hand drew the little doodle swirl from the sentiment to the cute little characters.

 And here is the finished card! I just love these sentiments and the crayon and pencil are TOO SWEET.
