Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you wrap your Christmas presents or throw it in a bag and be down with it?
A: Me? I love wrapping and adding tags and ribbons
Card #1: Christmas Bunnies Postage Card
Step #1: I started my card by creating the background with Brass & Bliss Christmas Mash Up Stamp. I used Brass & Bliss Color Fuse Ink Basil and die cut the words with the matching die.Step #2: I decided I wanted to mount the words on the Brass & Bliss Postage Stamp Nested Die 5806D so I die cut the words with the Brass & Bliss Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die 5013D and placed it on the green paper from the Boughs of Joy 6x6 Paper Pack. Then I mounted the whole background on red cardstock to make it pop.Step #3: I finished my card by adding the bunnies I colored with Copic Markers and three red pearls in the corners of my card.
Card #2: Winter Wishes Christmas Bunnies
Step #1: I picked papers from the Brass & Bliss Boughs of Joy 6x6 Paper Pack 2304 that matched the Copic coloring I did on the Brass & Bliss Christmas Bunnies. Then, I used a sketch I found on Pinterest to design my background.Step #2: I used Brass & Bliss Classic Nested Circle Dies to create a frame for my little bunny and tree. I mounted them onto the circles and centered them on my card.
Step #3: I finished my card by stamping the sentiment on the top right of the circle and adding gold glitter to the stars on the tree and gold enamel dots around my images.Supplies:

ReplyDeleteSuch cute cards!!! I enjoy doing both if I have cute paper and ribbon and TIME I will wrap. Last minute gifts go in a bag LOL.

ReplyDeleteThe bunnies are adorable and love the framing and traditional colors... so bright and happy. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bunnies, Meghan! I love them all. And those word dies are so cool. I love how you can use the whole panel or cut out a word or two. So versatile! The patterned paper is so fun too. I'm really getting in to the Christmas spirit seeing all these! It will be here before we know it. As for the bags vs. wrap, I do a little of each. I think I do prefer the bags because they're just so easy! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday! (And thanks again for the lovely card, the amazing book mark, which I'm using tonight, and the stickers!) You're such a blessing! :)
ReplyDeleteMeghan, such cute Christmas cards! I couldn't find the last one you posted to Double Trouble that has all the stamped words on it. But the other two are quite adorable. Love all the super fun papers you combined so expertly. Thank you for sharing your cards with us at Double Trouble!!! ( read every night, but use a Kindle so I can turn off the blue light) --Donna
