Hi Crafty Friends,
Brass and Bliss challenged the design team to Use
the SAME main image/die in two ways. I used the Brass & Bliss Marquee Nested Rectangles 5819-05D and Brass & Bliss Large Teacup with Saucer 5847-01D to make a Christmas card version and a sympathy version. Use my links to shop!
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you drink tea?
A: Me? yes
Card #1: Here For You Tea
Step #1: I die cut the Brass & Bliss Large Teacup with Saucer Die out of a variety of pink shades of paper and made the main cup polka dot pink. The pieces are so easy to line up and glue together to make the perfect cup.
Step #2: I die cut my frame out of blue cardstock using two sizes from the Brass & Bliss Marquee Nested Rectangle die. Then, I added acetate to the back to make my shaker top and mounted it on the Brass & Bliss Bee Mine 6x6 Paper 2203 with matching blue sequins.
Step #3: I made my sentiment by stamping "I am here for you" from the Brass & Bliss Sympathy #2 Stamp Set 37046 on the Brass & Bliss Nested Tag Dies 5704D.
Step #4: I finished my card by mounting the cup off to the right and adding the steam, then adding the sentiment in the left corner.
Card #2: Sending a Big Christmas Hug
For my second, card I did all the same steps but with colors to match the Brass & Bliss Winter Snowman Shaker Bits RN6001. I also added snowmen from the Brass & Bliss Cute Snowman Stamp Set 3499-02.
