Love is a Four Legged Word

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am sharing a card for all my dog lovers. I colored up this darling girl to match my niece, Annie and their dog Josie (see picture below). This cute stamp is from Stamping Bella called Tiny Townie Dawn Loves Her Dog with the fun heart background using Thermoweb Heart To Heart Toner Sheets with Thermoweb Decofoil Sheet Aqua.

I used a small polkadot teal pattern paper as my base and added a larger polkadot 1 inch strip toward the bottom. I chose these polkadot papers to match my foiled hearts background. 

I wanted the foiling to shine through so I place the puppy and girl to the bottom left so you could see the shine of the hearts. I finished my card with the cute sentiment diagonally placed in the left corner.

    Meghan, this is truly an adorable and so very precious card! You’ve done a great job, capturing Annie and Josie! I really love the teal colors that you’ve chosen as well. That background is really nice, especially the foiled hearts. I am definitely a dog person. We are now empty nesters and Bella is most definitely our daughter. I cannot imagine life without her! I have thought about getting a cat. She doesn’t like other dogs and I thought that that might be fun, but hubby says he doesn’t think so. I’ve had cats in the past and have loved them dearly, but there’s no place like a dog in our hearts. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing this awesome card with us at Word Art Wednesday! 🩵
