Hi Crafty Friends,
I LOVE these little elves from Sugar Pea Designs called Merry Makers. I colored them up in non-traditional Christmas colors to match the fun papers from Doodlebug Designs Oh What Fun.

Joyful Angel

Hi Crafty Friends,
I have a gorgeous angel card to share with you featuring Poppy Stamps Nordic Sweet Angel Die 2748. I love the layers of elegance with this die.

Q: Do you put an angel at the top of your tree?
A: Me? No

Step #1: I started my card by die cutting the different pieces of my angel from the Poppy Stamps Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad FP1002 for the wings and halo and Poppy Stamps Birthday Fun Paper Pad PP2100 for the pink parts of her dress. 

Step #2: I created the background using using Poppy Stamps Scalloped Pinpoint Frames 2751 and layered the smaller rectangle with polka dot pattern paper on top of the larger striped pattern paper from the Birthday Pad.

Step #3: I mounted my angel in the center of the smaller rectangle then die cut the Poppy Stamps Nordic Layered Joy Die 2762 and glued it below the angel.

Step #4: I finished my card by adding the Peace on Earth and Joyful Wishes Banners from the Holiday Banners Stamp & Die Set CB517 to the opposite corners of the smaller rectangle. 

 

Goody Goody Gumdrops

I love the Jaded Blossom Gnome Dies: Gingerbread Add-Ons. I made two cards featuring Gnome Girl Gingerbread cuties with Jaded Blossom Gumdrop Stenciled backgrounds, one in red and one in pink. I used the cute sentiments from the Jaded Blossom Gnome Baked Stamp Set. For both I used the Jaded Blossom Scallop Rectangle Dies 1

I was inspired by Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge for these puppy tag Christmas cards featuring Newton's Nook Canine Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad and Newton's Nook Puppy's Cookie Jar. I paper pieced the cookie jar in plaids and stripes to match the puppy background paper colors.

Hi Crafty Friends,
I was inspired by the Taylored Expressions November Masking Challenge for these unicorn cards featuring Taylored Expressions Create-in-Quads Layering Stencil: Dream On, Taylored Expressions Be U-nicorn Stamp Set, Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Dies, and Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Stamp- Birthday. I made one a wobbler and made sure their was a little glitter on their horns and star wands.

Bookshelf Beauties

Hi Crafty Friends,
I know many people skip the fall cards and decorations and go straight to Christmas but I love the colors of fall. I created two cards with one of my favorite nighttime activities before bed, reading. They feature the Brass & Bliss Whispers of Fall 6x9 Paper Pad 2306 and Brass & Bliss Bookshelf Beauty Die 3858D.

Card #1: It's Not Hoarding if it's Books! 

Step #1: I started my card by creating my background using Brass & Bliss Repeating Bricks Stencil 4102 and white stencil paste. I just love the texture of the white bricks.

Step #2: I die cut the books and shelves from various fall colors from the Whisper of Fall Paper Pad and glued all the tiny designs on each of the books. Then, I arranged the books on my brick background with the long shelf and short shelf.

Step #3: I added the sentiment from the Brass & Bliss Between the Pages Stamp Set 37041. I die cut the sentiment using Brass & Bliss Nested Tag Dies 5704D. I finished my card with some enamel dots that match the peach book covers.
