Nordic Mittens

Hi Crafty Friends,
I have been needing my mittens everyday here in PA this January which inspired me to make my ideal pair with Poppy Stamps Nordic Large Mitten Die 2761 and Nordic Small Mitten Die 2760 in shades of purple cardstock.

A: Me? Yes, I have ones that are gloves but have mitten tops that you can take on and off

Step #1: I started my card by creating the layered mittens out of shades of purple from the Poppy Stamps Twilight Purple Paper Pad.

 

Step #2: I created my background using the Poppy Stamps Scalloped Pinpoint Frames Dies 2751. I cut the the scallops from dark purple and the centers from Memory Box Anemone Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad PP1025.

 

Step #3: I die cut the sentiment in cardstock to match my mittens. I finished my card by mounting the mittens in the middle and adding the Winter Greetings Banner from the Poppy Stamps Holiday Banners Clear Stamp & Die Set.

I was inspired by the Pink and Main Challenge #12 Snow/Snowman. I used Pink and Main Flurries of Fun Stamp Set and Pink and Main Snow Day 6x6 Embossing Folder. I love how these penguins love to play in the snow and have snowball fights! I made it pink for Christmas Kickstart Challenge #106 Dreaming of a Pink Christmas.
