Hello Sunshine

Hi Crafty Friends,
This cheerful card is pure sunshine with its bold orange and yellow rays, happy little sun from Lili of the Valley Summer Icons Stamp Set, and oversized “hello sunshine” sentiment from Lawn Fawn. I added a few golden pearl accents for extra sparkle and warmth, making it perfect for sending a bright hello.  I used Tape Runner Adhesive to hold it all together. Thankful for Yellow Flowers

Hi Crafty Friends,
Poppy Stamps has the most gorgeous Nordic Garden Collection. I created pots of my favorite color flowers (Yellow) using Poppy Stamps Nordic Scalloped Flower Pots 2782, Poppy Stamps Scatter Flowers 2773 and framed with Poppy Stamps Fine Eyelet Frames Dies. I wish there were actual flower pots that looked just like these. I would put them right by my front door.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What are your favorite flowers?
A: Me? Yellow Roses

Step #1: I began by creating my flower pots out of different shades of yellow paper from the Poppy Stamps Sunrise 6x6 Paper Pad SP103.

Step #2: I die cut the Nordic Scatter Flowers in all the shades of yellow and yellow plaid paper and lined them up to make it easy to mix and match.

Step #3: I mix and matched the darker yellows, paler yellow, and plaids to make an extravagant garden for the bottom of my card. I layered the frame dies and arranged the flowers on the bottom of the smallest frame layer.

Step #4: I layered two of the eyelet frame dies on top of one another and turned my card landscape style. I placed the pots along the bottom of my card and filled them with my mixed and matched flowers. I finished my card with two banner sentiments from the Poppy Stamps Sentimental Banners Stamp & Die Set to alternate corners.

Friends Stick Together

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am so excited to be sharing my first Thermoweb Design Team Card. I made a fun summer friendship card featuring Thermoweb Off the Grid Toner Card Fronts with Thermoweb Deco Foil Color Harmony Shades of Green and Thermoweb Gina K Fancy Transfer Bubblegum Foil.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you have cactus or succulents at home?
A: Me? No, I don’t have a green thumb… I think I could even manage to kill succulents.

1. I made my Thermoweb toner card fronts colorful by using Distress Oxide Spun Sugar Ink on my pink grid background and Distress Oxide Twisted Citron on my green.  I wiped them with a microfiber cloth so that the black toner design would grip the foil then ran them through my Gina K Fuse Foiling System Machine.

2. I cut my backgrounds with stitched rectangle dies and layered the green on top of the pink then added the cute Lawn Fawn Cactus from Lawn Fawn Celebrate Summer Set. The FRIEND was diecut from Lawn Fawn Oliver’s Stitched Alphabet Dies and I arranged them in a whimsical way above the cactus.
