Penguin Winter Sled Ride

Hi Crafty Friends,
This playful Christmas card features two sweet Poppy Stamps Santa Penguins sledding on the Poppy Stamps Winter Sled Die through a snowy Poppy Stamps Trimmed Trees Dies forest scene. I kept the colors classic with red, green, and white, then added the bold Merry Christmas sentiment for a cheerful holiday finish.

I started my card by creating the background for my little penguins. I die cut the sled out of kraft paper and gray for the sled rails and mounted it at the top of my snowy hill. Then I cut the trees out of two shades of green and mounted them along the hill all the way down.

Next, I made my penguins to go on the sled. I made one with a Santa Hat and one with a bow from the Poppy Stamps Coffee Penguin so there would be a boy and a girl to go down the hill together.

I finished my card by adding the penguins to the sled and putting the Poppy Stamps Merry Christmas Cheerful Script Die in red at the bottom in the right corner.

Gourd-geous

Hi Crafty Friends,
This fall Poppy Stamps Scalloped Framer Tag is totally gourd-geous with layers of orange pumpkins and glittery gourds from Poppy Stamps Pumpkin Patch Dies. I love the mix of matte and sparkle pumpkins for a cozy autumn look with just the right amount of shine.

This tag was so easy to put together. I just die cut the pumpkins out of two shades of orange cardstock and bronze glitter cardstock. Then, I add brown stems to the tops.

I diecut the 2nd largest tag from the set out of matching orange cardstock to the pumpkins then I arranged them along the bottom of the tag and added a little gold gem to the hole at the top.
