Hungry? Foodie Shaker Cards!

Hi Crafty Friends,
I have some FUN Food themed shaker cards to share with you today using NEW Kat Scrappiness Products and some oldies but goodies! Let's get started!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What food sprinkle would you like to see in future Kat Scrappiness Releases?
A: Me? Coffee!

Card #1:  Featuring NEW Shaker Kits and September's Bamboo Backdrop Die, August's Wok On Sushi Stamp Set and Sushi Sprinkles

I started by die cutting the bamboo die out of black cardstock. Make sure you use this shim because the die has a lot of intricate pieces.

Next, I mounted the Bamboo Backdrop die on a fun Asian red background paper.
I painted my Medium Square Shaker Kit in red with acrylic paint. It took a few layers, then I sealed it with glossy varnish.

I added my Kat Scrappiness Sushi Sprinkles and some red sequins to the kit.

I added my colored sushi characters to the top of my shaker kit and stamped the sentiment on Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Die and glued it above my characters.

Supplies:
Kat Scrappiness Wok On Stamp Set
Kat Scrappiness Sushi Sprinkles
Kat Scrappiness Bamboo Backdrop Die
Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Banner Die
Kat Scrappiness Medium Square Shaker Kit

Card #2: Featuring October's Embossed Edges Dies and August's Mushroom Sprinkles

I started by die cutting the frame using Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edges Square die out of red cardstock.

Next, I mounted my Kat Scrappiness Acetate sheet on the Embossed Edge frame and trimmed the edges. I choose a small red dotted pattern paper for my background of my shaker so that the mushrooms and sequins would show up.

I colored up my mushrooms from Your Next Stamp Oh Shitake Set to match the Kat Scrappiness Mushroom Sprinkles.

I created a background panel using other red and white background papers and filled the center with mushroom sprinkles and sequins. Then I added my frame with the acetate sheet and added the mushrooms and sentiments.

Supplies:
Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edges Square Dies
Kat Scrappiness Stitched Banner Dies
Kat Scrappiness Mushroom Sprinkles
Kat Scrappiness Acetate Sheets
Your Next Stamp Oh Shitake Stamp Set

Card #3: How about a drink to go with all this food? This one features our NEW Shaker Card Kits the Postage Stamp and Lemon Sprinkles.

Supplies:
Kat Scrappiness Postage Stamp Shaker Kit
Kat Scrappiness Lemon Sprinkles
Sugar Pea Designs Pucker Up Stamp Set

  1. Loving your cards. The lemon card is my favorite. So bright and cheerful. Coffee Bean sprinkles would be great. Ice cream cones would be cute but maybe already have them.
