Ballerina

Hi Crafty Friends,
This is my first post as a Design Team Member for Rachelle Ann Miller Creative Studios! I picked this darling Ballerina to share because I was inspired by my little niece who just started ballet this past year and loves it! (see below). Make sure you visit Rachelle's store to see all the NEW digis and she is adding more each month!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Did you ever do ballet?
A: Me? Yes, but I was terrible! I was much better at hip hop and tap!

  3. This card is special!!!!! What an adorable look all the way around!!!! My parents gave me the choice of either ballet lessons, or figure skating. I was more of a tomboy, so I chose figure skating. My very talented grandma made me some skating costumes from scratch (no patterns!), and I looked like a million bucks :) She would ask me what I would like, I would describe it, and she would try to make a copy of my vision. You won't know who Peggy Fleming is, but I described one of her outfits that was blue, with flowing sleeves, and she made one that was similar to hers. Thanks for the memory :)

  9. Too pretty for words!! Gorgeous! Love all the flowers. I was never a ballerina. I tried out for cheerleading in 9th grade, but I just wasn't coordinated enough to get the moves down. Same thing with line dancing! I did take lessons, but just couldn't get it.

  16. A very cute creation and beautifully coloured, Unfortunately we cannot consider it for a prize as our challenge is for hand stamped images (digital images are not allowed at Penny Black and More Challenges - please refer to the rules). Hopefully we'll see you again soon though with a stamped focal image - that would be great xxxxx

  18. Cute card. Fun image and design. Your niece is so cute. Yes I took ballet. my mom was a tab, acrobat, ballet teacher growing up so it was a must. I was a chubby little kid (and adult) so it wasn't a favorite.. Thanks for sharing over at Catch the bug (this card would be perfect for the challenge over at Creations in Pink)

  23. This is so pretty, Meghan! Lots of great detail and I love the sparkle. I started ballet when I was two, and continued until I was (I think) 11 years old. I quit in part because I didn't want to learn pointe as I'd heard horror stories about what it does to your feet! Thank you for joining us at Cupcake Inspirations - Charlotte/Lady Joyful, DT

  27. Just beautiful as usual! I never did dance lessons until I talked my hubby into it a few years ago on a whim and a groupon. My granddaughter does all kinds of dance, but I think she likes the jazz and hip-hop the best too! Thanks for joining us at Double Trouble.
