  5. My birthday was yesterday, May 1. We went to a car show (my choice), lunch, and my sister's for dessert. Today the grandkids, our daughter, and my sister are coming to our house. Not exactly parties, but fun!

  6. Those paper pieced candles are adorable, but so much work! You are a paper piecing rock star. No parties for me...I like to relax on my birthday! This year we'll be renting a beach house with my daughter, her husband and the grandkids and we'll be there for my birthday.

  12. My last birthday was in the middle of COVID shut down so we barely got together with my parents (who were isolating, as we were). In the past, I've gone out to a local winery for lunch and tastings with my group of friends. Low key, but lots of fun.
