Birthday Kitty Present

Do you have your Birthday Card Stash stocked for summer? If not, Ink N' Splatter has the BEST birthday stamps ever! I'm sharing the Birthday Kitties stamp today with this darling kitty popping out of a present. I used the Sweet Blue Celebrations Paper Pad for my background and embellished it with enamel dots.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Have you ever gotten a pet as a birthday present?
A: Me? No, but if anyone wants to get me a puppy for my birthday it's in August

  2. Cute kitty design!
I didn't really get a pet for a birthday present, but I'd made arrangements to get a Siamese kitten many years ago, and it just turned out she was ready to be adopted on my birthday, so that's the day I got to pick her up!

  3. Really cute kitty card. I haven't gotten an animal for a gift, but our sone has twice. The first time was several mice...from my sister. She knew that I didn't want them, but gave them to him anyway! Grrr. Don't ever get mice, they stink up the house (I can still imagine the smell after about 25 years!). I was just waiting for them to die. I know it sounds horrible, especially from an animal LOVER. But our son never even looked at them, and I got to try to keep their home clean and stench free--good luck with that! I fed them, and took care of every need they had. So I will move on to the WONDERFUL pet he received. He had wanted a dog his whole life, and I finally decided I was ready to take care of a dog fully (kids always say they will feed, walk, clean up after the pet, but they never do). We surprised him with the best dog in the world (well, maybe he tied with Maggy :) ). We got him for his birthday in 6th grade. Mickey Mouse was technically our son's, but I quickly became his favorite. He followed me everywhere, loved our walks, and smiled at me with such love in his eyes. Ok, I'll stop......can you tell I loved, and miss, my sweet pup? By the way, I love to see photos of Maggy, and you with your friend. They make me happy :)

    1. By the way, I was kidding when I said grrr about my sister. I wasn't actually mad. I wasn't thrilled that she got them for our son, but I wasn't mad :)
