For a Very Special Boo

Hi Crafty Friends,
I have a fun fall themed Halloween Card featuring fall colors instead of the purples, bright oranges and greens of a typical Halloween card. I love the various Poppy Stamp Leaf Dies and I paired them with a spooky pumpkin frame for a Special Boo.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Which color combo do you like better...bright oranges, blacks, & purples or warm orange, browns, and yellows?
A: Me? I like everything BRIGHT so definitely the orange, black, purple combo

Final_6 (3)I created my background using Distress Oxide Walnut Stain, Carved Pumpkin, and Wild Honey Inks. Then I splattered it with gold and white paint.

I die cut my pumpkin faces, the ghosts, and the word BOO from the 6x6 Rainbow Reflections 6x6 Mirror Paper Pad for that extra shine and framed my sentiment with the Jack O' Lantern Frame Die.

  1. A fun and for sure Autumn-coloured card! And while we in my part of the world don't do Haloween, you can consider that back in the days they already did pumpkins... so they are modern and vintage at the same time... Thank you for joining us at TIME OUT!

It depends on what I'm making, but I usually prefer the bright colors.

  4. Oooh, this card warms my dark side. Love the darker one. It masks the smiley punkin really well. Really great card.
