Easter Basket Chicks

Hi Crafty Friends,
Easter is just a week away! Are you ready? Brass and Bliss has a DARLING Chicks and Eggs set that is easy to color up for your last minute Easter cards. I used their NEW Quilted Stitched Pierced Cover Die for my background. I love the texture it brings to my design.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What are you doing for Easter?
A: Me? Still recovering from Rotator Cuff Surgery! Can't used my left arm :(

Step One: Color up the cute chick and her eggs with Copic Markers: Y19, Y18, Y15. The eggs are pastels R10, B00, G00 YG02. The nests are E55,E53,E51.
Step 2: I die cut the Quilted Stitch Pierced Coverplate Die out of pink paper and splattered it with white Copic paint and mounted it on the teal paper. Then I added the grass in teal using the Classic Tabbed Grass Die.
Step 3: I stamped the sentiment on the Nested Tag Dies and arranged the chicks and sentiment on my background.

  5. Super cute card in gorgeous colours. Love that bright blue card. How are you crafting without the use of your left arm??!! It would be slow going for me.
