Hey There, Honey

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am sooooo excited to share with you my favorite stamp set from the Brass & Bliss NEWEST Release called Buzzy Bees. I love their little faces! I used Brass & Bliss Honeycomb stencil for my background with Brass & Bliss Color Fuse Inks.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: When is the last time you got stung by a bee?
A: Me? I think 15 years ago

Step 1: I started my card with the honeycomb stenciled base. I blended Brass & Bliss Color Fuse Lemon, Custard, and Autumn Inks and splattered it with White Copic Ink Paint, Pixie Dust, and Distress Oxide Black Soot Ink. I mounted my background on Brass & Bliss Nested Scallop Half Hole Die in black.

Step 2: I colored up the bees with Copic Sketch Markers Y19, Y17, Y15 and C8, C7, C6. I arranged the bees and honeycomb on my card so they look like they are in motion.

Step 3: I finished my card by stamping the sentiment on the Brass & Bliss Nested Tag Dies and placed it in the center of my card.

  3. Very cute and the sentiment is perfect. I was last stung when I was about 9 years old. I do like their honey though. LOL So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas for our challenge this month.
