Hi Crafty Friends,
It's Christmas in July with Brass & Bliss. I have a slimline snowman Christmas card featuring Brass & Bliss Snowmen with Presents 3336, Brass & Bliss Slimline OPC Scallop Die 5322-01D, and Brass & Bliss Merry Christmas with Shadow Die 5515-12D. I just love how whimsical these cute snowmen are and they are perfect for each window of the die.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Have you ever bought a Christmas present for someone in the summer?
A: Me? No, I would totally forget where I stored it.
Step #2: I colored the Snowmen with Presents with Copic Markers Reds: R39,R37,R29, Darker Greens: G28,G09,G05, and Lime Greens: YG07, YG05,YG03. I arranged them in the various windows of the die.
Step #3: I finished my card with the Christmas sentiment die cut from green and white cardstock and mounted at the bottom of my card.

Meghan, I love this card! The colors are so bright and fun and the patterned paper adds so much interest. That die is really nice too. As for the Christmas presents, yes, I do buy not only in summer but all year long. I store them in one spot and that way shopping is easier in December. But I have forgotten some at times too! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We love seeing your cards!
ReplyDeleteAdorable trio of snow people on this card! Lots of bright colors and details. I love the die cut frame and the Christmas sentiment is awesome. I think I need to add them to my stash. Yes, I start my Christmas shopping early in the year and store in one area also only because I've forgotten where gifts are too until after the holiday! Thanks for sharing with A Cut Above's July, "Anything Goes With A Die Cut" Challenge.
ReplyDeleteMeghan, I'm with you - I never buy Christmas gifts in the summer (I would never have any idea where I hid them 6 months later!). I'm working on my Christmas cards this month, too. I always enjoy seeing your ideas, and admire your wonderful Copic coloring!! Thank you for sharing your creativity and cards with us at Double Trouble!!! -Donna
ReplyDeleteAdorable and such bright Christmas colors and patterns... love the little windows of the difference design papers... fun Christmas card. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteYes I buy Christmas cards all year round and occasionally I do forget where I put them. Love your Christmas card and how you put the elements on the card. Thanks for sharing with us at PIP Challenges.

ReplyDeleteWow! This is so full of Christmas cheer! Love the traditional colors and the images are so cute! I don't usually start buying Christmas gifts until much later in the year. If I bought them in the summer, I'd gave and give it early lol! Always love seeing your cards at Double Trouble :)
ReplyDeleteLove this card. The colouring is amazing and the design screams Christmas. Thank you so much for sharing your talent at The Paper Funday Challenge this month.
