It's Been SOOOOO LONG

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am sharing a DARLING little Giraffe from Kat Scrappiness named Lola! This is the VERY FIRST STAMP set EVER released by Kat Scrappiness 4 years ago! She is the perfect stamp set to create cards for all the friends you haven't seen forever because of COVID-19 and being quarantined away from them.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Have you been able to get together with friends again where you live?
A: Me? Yes. Illinois is in Phase 4 and it has been so nice to see people but I miss BIG HUGS

  1. No, unfortunately, our state is still in shutdown and it's almost surreal how things have changed. Trying to buy pet medication and then some take out food was an ordeal that took multiple tries and two hours. On the other hand, I'm still healthy so I feel lucky about that.

  3. I haven't been around too many people. I had a friend come by to visit and we sat out on my porch for awhile. It was nice to get a chance to visit. And I've been over to my neighbor's house a few times. It's so nice to get the chance to sit and chat!

  6. The giraffe is one of my fave animals! Your card is lovely. The whole family (16 of us) just got together on the 13th to celebrate a nephew's birthday. It was wonderful!

  7. I have only seen one friend. I live in a nearly socialist state--Commufornia. We are trying to recall our governor. Your giraffe is adorable!!! I love how you added the strips behind him, and the really cute papers. GREAT JOB

  9. Meghan, this is adorable! You chose the perfect background paper to use with this little giraffe, and I love how you matched the butterflies and the ribbon.

  10. Such a cute 🦒 giraffee; she is, that Lola. 🙂 I like how your sentiment reflects the looong blue ribbon, a great touch! The pattern paper is nice too.
In Northern VA, small gatherings are allowed but there is really no one I want to see. We did just go to the beach and there were a lot of people in DE for a pandemic. Not as many as there could be, but still quite a bit.
I hug my immediate family every day so that will keep me till the masks are off. 🙂🥰😆

  13. We haven't been able to get together with friends yet, even though some of my friends are doing it anyway. I'm trying my best to isolate so I can at least see my parents, who have some health issues. I sure do miss get togethers and sit down restaurants though.
