Friends Stick Together

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am so excited to be sharing my first Thermoweb Design Team Card. I made a fun summer friendship card featuring Thermoweb Off the Grid Toner Card Fronts with Thermoweb Deco Foil Color Harmony Shades of Green and Thermoweb Gina K Fancy Transfer Bubblegum Foil.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you have cactus or succulents at home?
A: Me? No, I don’t have a green thumb… I think I could even manage to kill succulents.

1. I made my Thermoweb toner card fronts colorful by using Distress Oxide Spun Sugar Ink on my pink grid background and Distress Oxide Twisted Citron on my green.  I wiped them with a microfiber cloth so that the black toner design would grip the foil then ran them through my Gina K Fuse Foiling System Machine.

2. I cut my backgrounds with stitched rectangle dies and layered the green on top of the pink then added the cute Lawn Fawn Cactus from Lawn Fawn Celebrate Summer Set. The FRIEND was diecut from Lawn Fawn Oliver’s Stitched Alphabet Dies and I arranged them in a whimsical way above the cactus.

Joyful Christmas with Maggie 2024

Hi Crafty Friends,
This was Christmas 2024 when my Best Buddy, Maggie and I went to the local tree decorating and Santa Visit in Western Springs, IL. We had fun seeing the different tree decorations and taking pics in the selfie Polaroid set up. The papers and stickers are from the Echo Park Baking Spirits Bright Collection.

Vintage Scrapbook Pages

Hi Crafty Friends,
This layout is all about preserving sweet memories with older photos and giving them new life in my scrapbook. I used warm browns, gold accents, layered tags, and simple embellishments to keep the focus on the photos while adding a little vintage charm.

This simple scrapbook page preserves a sweet November 1986 photo with a soft, classic feel. I kept the design clean with cream cardstock, a delicate branch frame, and a small date label so the vintage photo stays the focus.

Summer Beach Scenes

Hi Crafty Friends,
This bright beach-themed card featuring Lili of the Valley Summer Fun Bundle Stamps is packed with sunny vacation vibes, from the rainbow umbrella and tropical fish to the palm tree and sandcastle. I love the postage-style layout of the Waffleflower A7 Postage Die and Waffleflower Postage Wave Stencil because each little scene feels like its own mini summer postcard.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in the summer?
A: Me? Anything outside
