Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Which is your favorite Easter character?
A: Me? I LOVE bunnies! They are just sooooo cute!

I used a copic markers to color up these cuties. I used a diecut to frame them and foam tape to pop them up in the "windows". I finished the card by doodling the edges, adding a few gems, and stamping the Happy Easter!

And for a final special touch, I made a matching envelope!

Hey Chickie!

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's finally beginning to feel like SPRING! So I made this sweet little flower card with the Your Next Stamp Easter Chicks! I love pastel purple and lavendar! Especially hydrangeas that are soft purples.

Make Craft Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite purple flower?
A: Me? Purple Hydrangeas

I diecut the flowers using a retired flower die set from C.C Designs then I popped the chicks up in the center with a foam dot. I finished it with the fun sentiment and polka dot pastel purple ribbon.

Unicorn Birthday Dreams Come True

Hi Crafty Friends,
I wanted to share this Magical Unicorn Birthday Card. I just love these PASTEL colors and the sweet pearl accents. I hope you do too!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite way to accent your cards?
A: Me? I love sequins, gems, and pearls.
I created the background using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and splattering it with a darker pink ink. I diecut the clouds then stamped the presents on them and colored with copic markers.

I'm Here For You: Even On the Cloudiest Days

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am so excited to be Guest Designing this month for Scrap N' Stamp Canada! I started this month with joining the Design Team's Pun Blog Hop! If you missed those posts HERE my first card, HERE is my second card, and HERE is the full HOP! It's Hilarious! Then I posted my first RAIN or SHINE card inspired by my adorable niece and nephew HERE (more pictures of them below).
https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What do you call the shoes you wear in the rain?
A: Me? WELLIES! My brother lives in Ireland and that's what they are called there! I like that better than rainboots

I started my card by stenciling the clouds with Distress ink Black Soot on Bristol White Paper. I glued that down to the yellow base. I then die cut the clouds and inked the edges with My Favorite Things Blue Ink. I colored the little girl and duckies with copic markers and fussy cut them out. It took forever!
I finished my card by creating a FUN Puddle Splashing scene. I inked the edges of my sentiment and glued it to a yellow banner die so that it would pop from the card.

The Stamp Doctor Crazy for Coffee

Hi Crafty Friends,
Do you drink coffee? No?!?! Are you CRAZY!? Actually, I never used to drink coffee... I was always a tea person. I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 27! It all began when I got the morning shift at Trader Joe's and EVERYONE else was chugging it so I got to enjoying it. I am still a tea person and drink all kinds of loose leaf greens and blacks but have found I like trying different blends of coffee too. I tried a new blend this month from Starbucks (I have never had a Starbuck's cup of coffee) but someone got me a G.C so I bought their whole bean Sumatra. I love dark roasts and this one is GREAT! Inspired me to make a coffee card with my new Coffee Stamp Set from The Stamp Doctor! How cute is this?!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite coffee blend?
A: Me? Currently I like Sumatra! From both Starbuck's and Trader Joes

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Guest Designer: Rawr Means Let's Have Coffee

Hi Crafty COFFEE-LOVING Friends,
It's me again, so excited to be Guest Designing for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog! If you missed my first post (filled with rainbows and coffee), check it out here. For this post I decided to make an interactive card! Who wouldn't love a coffee shaker with a cute dinosaur?

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: If you could only have ONE Brand and Roast of coffee for the rest of your life what would it be?
A: Me? Organic Sumatra From Trader Joes Dark Roast

I started by making the shaker. I die cut the coffee mug out of the brown paper for the top and the coffee bean paper for the base. I handcut the center of the mug out and put acetate on the back to make then "window". I added the sequins and used foam tape to mount it on the coffee bean paper. Shaker mug complete!

I used some other fun papers from the Your Next Stamp Coffee Paper Pack to create the rest of the design. I used stitched square dies to make the mug stand out from the brown coffee bean background paper. Then I finished the card off with the sentiments cut in banner dies with distressed ink edging and popping the dinosaur up with some foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for having me as a guest on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. I hope I gave you a little caffeinated inspiration and that you have a RAWR-some day. All The Weather: Sweet Home Chicago

Hi Crafty Friends,
"If you don't like the Weather in Chicago, just WAIT 5 MINUTES!" One day it's 30mph winds and 30 F degrees the next day it is 60 F degrees and sunny. The weather can't make up it's mind! Here is a fun card for ANY weather RAIN or SHINE :)

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is "spring" weather where you live?
A: Me? It always RIDICULOUSLY windy in March, hence the WINDY city (yes, I know that it's actually known as the windy city because of politicians)
It's a COLOR Challenge at The Jaded Blossom Blog where these darling weather images are from so I colored them up using the colors below. I created the background to be half stormy clouds and half sunshiny clouds so that I could represent all the colors and all the weather!
