Scrap N' Stamp PUN Card Blog Hop: Honey, Wait! I Can Change!

Hi Crafty Friends!
ROUND TWO! SOOOO EXCITED to be a Guest Designer for Scrap N' Stamp's Pun Card Blog Hop! Here is my second card using the DARLING Lawn Fawn One In A Chameleon Stamp Set. After you answer my make Crafty Friends Q & A, learn about how I made my second card! If you missed my first post go here.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite food pun?
A: Me? I like avocados and I'm a personal trainer... so "Let's do some AVO-CARDIO"
I started this card with the background. I used Taylored Expressions Cloud Stencils and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink, Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink, and Crushed Olive Distress Oxide Ink.
I hand drew and cut the branch for the Chameleons and colored them to look like a boy (blue) and girl (pink with eyelashes). Then I printed the sentiment on just regular computer paper and die cut them in a banner shape using the Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment banners and matted them in gold.
Thank you so much for checking out my second PUN Card for the Scrap N' Stamp Blog Hop. Please take a moment to follow my blog so you can answer all the Make Crafty Friends Q & As and follow me on Instagram here!

Scrap N' Stamp PUN Card Blog Hop: You're One and A Chameleon

Hi Crafty Friends!

I am SOOOO EXCITED to be a Guest Designer for Scrap N' Stamp's Pun Card Blog Hop! I made two cards for the hop because I LOVE Puns! I hope you enjoy them both. For my both cards, I used the DARLING Lawn Fawn One In A Chameleon Stamp Set. After you answer my make Crafty Friends Q & A, learn about how I made my card! Click HERE to go to my Second Card!
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite "dad" joke? I think dad jokes are very similar to corny puns ;)
A: Me? Want to hear a joke about paper? Nevermind it's tearable

I started by stamping the rainbow from Concord & 9th Rainbow Wishes Stamp Set. I used colors from the Tim Holtz Distress Archival Mini Ink Pads #1 and Tim Holtz Distress Archival Mini Ink Pads #2 then I stamped the clouds in black and the "patterns" on the yellow and blue part of the rainbow.

Next I fussy cut out all the layers. I used a 4 x 5.25 piece of white cardstock blending Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to create the light blue background. I splattered it with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink mixed with water.

I add some die cut clouds with inked edges and of course the CUTE little Lawn Fawn Chameleon and sentiment from the Lawn Fawn One In a Chameleon Stamp set. I finished it off with Ranger Glossy Accents on the hearts, non-patterned rainbow bands, and the little Chameleon's colored back pattern.

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Guest Designer: Rainbow Coffee Mugs

Hi Crafty COFFEE-LOVING Friends,
I am SOOOO Excited to be Guest Designing this month for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers group! It is a wonderful facebook group and blog that allows caffeine loving crafters to show off our coffee, tea, and cocoa cards and crafts!
For my first post, I decided to go with rainbow colors because it's almost St. Patrick's Day and I'm Irish which means this month is all about clovers, luck, rainbows, and hopefully a Pot of Gold.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q:Are you Irish? Have you ever been to Ireland?
A: Me? YEP! I think I'm about 70% Irish but my brother lives in Dublin, Ireland so I like to claim I'm 100%. And of course I have been to visit my brother in Dublin but I have also been to Galway which is gorgeous!

I started by lining up the mugs to see how long I had to make the card. Turns out it needed to be 4.25 x 7.5. Not your typical card size but I wanted all the mugs to have their cute little faces showing!
Next, I picked my background paper. I knew I wanted to use this adorable rainbow paper pack from Sunny Studios and since we all LOVE coffee, I chose HEARTS. Then made a center piece using the plaid and brown so that the mugs would stand out a little more.

I colored each mug to match one of the hearts and added some glossy accents to the coffee inside, whip cream, crazy eyes, and mustaches to give them a little extra pop (hard to see in the pics)

Thank you so much for stopping by and for having me as a guest on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. I had so much fun bringing you a rainbow of coffee and I hope I gave you a little caffeinated inspiration and maybe luck of the Irish for the month. Please visit my other blog posts and Instagram here and you can answer my "Make Crafty Friends Q & A" on all my posts so we can get to know each other. Cheers!

Spring Fever with Acacia & Mugs (aka Meghan & Maddie)

Hi Crafty Friends,
Popping in as a Guest Designer for Digi Doodle Studios this month. Digi Doodle Studios is having a fun SPRING color Challenge this month so I decided to play along with these GORGEOUS colors. I love this little image called Acacia and Mugs. She just reminds me of me and my pup Maddie see below. Digi Doodle Studios has soooo many adorable dog and owner images so if you are a Dog Mom like me definitely go check them out, they are all DARLING.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite kind of dog?
A: Me? Maltipoos! (That's what Maddie is...) But if I couldn't pick Maddie's Breed I would say a Yorkie or a Rescue
I colored her hair and outfit to go with the March Color Challenge (image below) Then I added the white highlights with a gel pen. I die cut the image using a stitched square die and matted it with a green stitched square.
I used a pink flower pattern background paper on a green card base, then added the flower embellishments and gems. I finished it off with a simple sentiment "Good Friends" even though it should say "Love of My Life" because that is how much Maddie means to me.

This is Maddie, could she be any cuter?!?

Happy St. Patrick's Day Dog Paws

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's March which for me means St. Patrick's Day! I'm IRISH! My brother lives in Dublin, Ireland. So I love to celebrate this holiday with my family. I made this darling card for my dad who is almost 100% Irish and loves dogs! His dog's name is Ronan (a very Irish name, picture below). I used green dotted patterned paper for the background of my card then added the fun St. Patrick's Day ribbon and The Stamp Doctor's darling dog paw dies!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite Irish Name?
A: Me? MEGHAN duh! ;)

This is Ronan! Could he be any cuter? And here are a few more shots of my card below.

Thank You STARS

Hi Crafty Friends,
Here is a CLEAN and SIMPLE star card just to say THANKS! I used a rainbow palette of colors for the patterned papers and a simple script "Thanks". I used foam tape to pop a few up to give it dimension and different layers. I love layers on cards so even when doing a CAS design I always feel like I need to add a little something!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: How many constellations can you name off the top of your head?
A: Me? Three (Big Dipper, Little Dipper, O'Ryan's Belt)

Supplies:
