Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm feeling in a magical mood today. So I made a Unicorn Birthday card. I wanted to join the fun As You Like It Challenge this week; Die Cut or Stencil, I chose stencil. I used a cloud stencil to do the background because I love using distress inks and stencils, it's always fun when you peel the stencil away and see the final product.

A: Me? Definitely Unicorns

I'll Never Desert You
Hi Crafty Friends,
I am dropping in to share a card outside of my comfort zone. I usually color cutesy images and use BRIGHT colors. However, I was inspired by all the spring colors that are popping up on blogs and instagram and decided to give it a try. Sugar Pea Designs has a great Mix It Up Challenge and this month it features some of those pastels. I used both the sketch and the image to create this beauty.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite Pastel Color?
A: Me? I really like Lavendar
I used Altenew Soft Pastel 6 Mini Ink Pack to stamp the cactus in all the different colors. I then took copic markers to shade them and fussy cut them out. I created a little layered scene of cactus on the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Circle Dies and added a few as accents in the corners. I finished with the sentiment stamped on banner dies.
Supplies:
SugarPea Designs Stuck On You

I Love You Rain Or Shine
Hi Crafty Friends,
I am so excited to be Guest Designing this month for Scrap N' Stamp Canada! I started this month with joining the Design Team's Pun Blog Hop! If you missed those posts HERE my first card, HERE is my second card, and HERE is the full HOP! It's Hilarious!
For my next two cards of the month, I was inspired by some pictures my identical twin sister sent me of my niece and nephew (Annie & Thomas) splashing around in the rain. Remember when you were a kid and LOVED playing in the rain?
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: When is the last time you were in the rain? What happened?
A: Me? I had a 18 miler on my training schedule last Saturday and had to run the whole thing in the rain
I started my card with a dark grey base and inked the edges in white. I colored my images with copic markers. I then added the rainbow layers in all the colors to match the little girl's umbrella. I die cut the white clouds and inked the edges with Distress Ink Black soot.
I taped all the cut-outs, die cuts and fussy cut stamps onto my base to make a fun little puddle splashing scene! I finished the card by stamping the sentiment in white ink.
Thank you so much for checking out my blog. Please take a moment to comment and follow so you can answer all the Make Crafty Friends Q & As and follow me on Instagram here!

Inspirational Words from The Stamp Doctor
Hi Crafty Friends,
I am sharing a CLEAN and SIMPLE card I designed for The Stamp Doctor. I am sure you know her die cuts but did you know The Stamp Doctor has wonderful stamps too? Especially the sentiments! I LOVE this font, so I wanted to highlight the words with a CAS design and bright rainbow colors!
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Which of these words is your favorite and why?
A: Me? Believe. I run ultra marathons (50K, 50 miles, 100miles) and the only way I get through them is with my mantra "The Body Achieves what the Mind BELIEVES"
