Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenge #26: Shower! Crazy Cousin Guest Designer

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am so excited to be the CRAZY COUSIN Guest Designer for the DOUBLE TROUBLE Paper Crafting (Thing 1, 2, and/or 3) Challenge Blog for the 2nd time this month! It's Challenge #26 Splish Splash! I also used my FAVORITE Animal for the As You Like It Challenge... PUPPIES!
I Look Good in Pink and Plaid Don't I?
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite kind of shower? Rain? Snow? Baby? Wedding? Your Bathroom?
A: Me? I love Rain Showers... I love the sound of rain when I go to sleep... it's soooo peaceful!

Here are the Details!
Challenge #26 "Showers" with The Joy of TicTacToe Sets - Due at Double Trouble No Later than April 13, 2019 or sooner for publication April 15th, 2019.

THING 1: Trouble Maker
says, This challenge is a splash!  Include some form of water to celebrate "Showers" (Spring,  Wedding, Baby, Housewarming).  Or, give us watercolor technique or paper background, splatter or rain drops using products that represent water (liquid glass, glossy accents).

You can stop here
Or you can opt to use the TicTacToe Board below.

THING 3: Twisted Sister
says "I live in the Pacific Northwest and raindrops keep fallin' on my head (song).  To keep the raindrops from fallin' on my head include a bumbershoot on your project."

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random prize draw if you include a bumbershoot. And don't stop here...go to Thing 2

THING 2: Double Dare
says if you have completed a row, column or diagonal from this TicTacToe Board then you are eligible to link your project at The Joy of Sets #004 HERE and you will receive an additional chance at the Double Trouble Random Draw.

I started my card by blending Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry ink on my scallop die cut rectangle. Then I splattered water on it for a SPLASH (Thing 1). Then I mounted it on my lighter pink base and glued on the word BABY and the die cut clouds.
I colored the darling little duck and puppy with their Bumershoots (I never knew that was a word for UMBRELLA) and added them to the corners (THING 2).
I made sure to add the pearls so that I could play along with The Joy of TicTacToe Sets Challenge #004 (Bottom Row: Diecut, White, Pearls).
Thank you so much for stopping by and for having me as a guest on the Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenge Blog. Please visit my other blog posts and Instagram here and you can answer my "Make Crafty Friends Q & A" on all my posts so we can get to know each other. Cheers!

  2. Adorable card Meghan and love how you incorporated all the requirements and options. Since we're in Arizona we don't see too many raindrops but welcome them and like the sound of the rain against the patio. When we were back East though we didn't like to see the rain because there just seemed to be too much. How a location will change your thoughts. Thanks again for being our Guest Designer this week at Double Trouble.

  20. Great card Meghan...was so excited to have your join our DT family tree!!! Your card is so adorable...anything pink is always a favorite! I love the sound of raindrops on a metal roof, but we get so many of them (I live about 30 miles from Seattle) so my real favorite is my bathroom shower!!!
