I Love You Mom

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's my first month as a FULL TIME Design Team Member of Digi Doodle Studios! I am sooooo excited to officially be a part of the team! Since Mother's Day is just days away I wanted to share this sweet image of a mom and her daughters called Carolina Coffee Break. It reminds me of my mom, my identical twin sister, and me. We all love coffee and we all love to gossip together.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: How are you going to be celebrating Mother's Day?
A: Me? Dog Mom here so snuggling with my little maltipoo. My mom lives in PA so I will call her and have her open her present over the phone with me :)

I started my card by stenciling the hearts on my panel and mounting it to the red card base. Then I added my image and the ric rac. I colored this darling image with copics and used red and pink for me (left, my favorite colors growing up), blues for my sister, Lauren (right, her favorite colors growing up), and purple for my mom (although she only wears black, white, gray but I am trying to add some color to her wardrobe).

  5. Awww, thanks for showing your photos! So sweet. We have several sets of twins in our family, but none are identical. Your card is just as precious as can be. This Mother's Day will be a first for me ... not doing anything special (my Mama passed away in late 2017).

  6. What a fun post. Thanks so much for sharing your family photos. It must have been a blast growing up with an identical twin. Your mother will love your card, and I love how you dressed one girl in red, one in blue, and purple (red+blue) for the mom! Ingenious!

Would love to see a recent photo of how they have grown up. The image is so fabulous and the bright colours definitely bring it to life and hit the 'playful' theme perfectly.
