Mission Control: We Have A Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,
I have TWO Cards to share with you that I made for BOY/MALE Birthday! I was inspired by the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #437, Color Challenge #117, and Birthday Project: Make A Wish. I love this Space Explorers Set SO MUCH!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite SPACE movie?
A: Me? SpaceBalls! Remember that one with John Candy? Am I aging myself :)

For my first card I used the candle paper from Doodlebug Designs for my background and then colored up the planets and the little space explorer in the color theme from Challenge #117. I inked the edges of the stars and die cut my sentiment out of a STITCHED rectangle nesting die.
For my second card, I used the same paper pack but for this one I decided to make the planets out of the birthday patterned papers. I inked all the edges with royal blue Versa Ink and finished my card with the cute birthday sentiment die cut from the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Supplies:
My Favorite Things Space Explorers Stamp Set
DoodleBug Designs 6x6 Paper Pack Hip Hip Hooray
Kat Scrappiness Stitched Rectangle Die
Gina Marie Stitched Rectangle Die
