Whimsy Stamps August Digital Release: Penguin Spook Nite

Hi Crafty Friends,
This is my last post as a Guest Designer this month for Whimsy Stamps. I ADORE this company and I am so grateful to have been a part of the team this month! Hopefully, they will have me back again!  If you missed my first two posts, head here to see Pip Apple Picking and Windy Day Cinnamon.

Time for Halloween cards already?!? Yes, why not get a head start with this darling little digi stamp from Whimsy Stamps! This is Penguin Spook Nite, but I would say this little lady is too CUTE to Spook!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your Favorite Halloween Costume you have ever had?
A: Me? In 3rd grade a group of us were HI-C Boxes! Picture Below!

Best Halloween Costumes EVER!

I created the web on my panel with Studio Katia Spider Web stencil and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink. I splattered it with watered down Black Soot Distress Oxide. Then I added the penguin to the middle and finished my card with the Trick or Treat die layered with a black shadow.
Please Comment, Subscribe, and Follow my blog and Instagram. I am giving away a prize pack (see right panel) to one lucky commenter at the end of the month of August. I will be doing giveaways to my commenters and followers every month!

  2. Adorable card! Love the spiderweb background too!
My favorite costume was the year my daughter was in preschool, and I made her a Tinkerbell costume and I dressed as Peter Pan.

  3. Cute card with the spiderweb background and cute Hi-C photo. One year I dressed as a bum and no one could tell who I was.

  4. I love your adorable card. Wonderful background. One year in elementary school, me and my best friend dressed up as hobo clowns. We swapped one shoe each so we had mismatch sneakers and I just remember we had the best time and got a lot of candy! 😊

  5. Really adorable card, Meghan. We still dress up for Halloween at our house. My daughter (39 yrs old) creates fabulous costumes every year. I was the fairy godmother and it was a perfect outfit for me. As a child i was a black cat and it was fun.

  6. Not only is your card adorable.....but YOU are stinkin' adorable!!! As for my favorite Halloween costume......it's been so long since I was a kid but I would have to say my youngest son dressing up like a girl (wig and all) was great. People that didn't know him kept asking him what he was suppose to be.....LOL...they thought he WAS a girl....LOL :) Hugs...Janie

  10. Congrats on your time as a guest designer - your cards are stunning! This one is absolutely adorable. I love the image, layout and colors! Fits perfectly with our Furry Friends challenge at Tuesday Throwdown! So glad you joined us! My best ever Halloween costume? My grandpa helped me one year and I was a bum. Dressed in his bib overalls with coffee grounds on my face and a little hobo bag on a stick over my shoulder. Complete with conductor's cap! (Smile) Thanks for the memories!!

  11. Sweet penguin image! Love your colors too. My favorite Halloween costume was in fourth grade and my mom dressed me as a hobo. :)

  12. My favorite Halloween costume was when my mom made me a princess riding on a horse. My legs were the horses legs, and my princess body came up out of the top of the horses back. It was hilarious but I loved it
