Sweet Sentiment Happy Pills Jar

Hi Crafty Friends,
I have a fun Happy Pill Jar for you using Sweet Sentiment Friends Stamp Set. Time to make use of any of those extra spice jars you have in your house or to find the expired ones and dump them out so you can craft. I will go through my process step-by-step below but feel free to get creative. This is a super quick and easy project to create for friends of family that might be having a rough time.

Here is the final project you will create!

Step #1: Cut a 1.5" white strip of cardstock and pick the Sweet Sentiment stamp set you are going to use. I used the Friends stamp set with the "Friends Forever" sentiment. Use your Misti to line up the image and sentiment on your strip. Let the ink set and dry while you search for your jar.

Step #2: Grab an empty spice jar or start checking the expiration dates... I bet you have a jar you could empty. HA! Wash it out and wrap your strip around the jar and trim to fit.

Step #3: Coloring time! These are the colors I used below.

Step #4: I mounted my white strip on a matching pink piece of cardstock with a 1/4" border to match my pink lid. I added a little purple ribbon to match the ladies' shirt.

Step #5: Fill that jar with HAPPY PILLS! I chose Skittles but you can use anything. Some other ideas are M&Ms, Mints, Good & Plenty, Mike & Ikes, Nerds...etc. Print out the Happy Pills Message (PDF is in the group). I rolled mine like a scroll and put it inside the jar but if you have a bigger jar you could put it on the jar with your stripe or make it a tag and hang it off the ribbon.

Please TAG ME in the Sweet Sentiment Friends Group when you create your jar! I want to see everyone's creations! PLEASE use the link below if you want to buy this awesome stamp set!

  2. Fun idea! I probably have several spice containers that are way outdated! Love the pink lid on yours and the way you tied that color into your label.

  3. Hey that looks fun! Cannot retreat with ya, but I know it will be a blast! Reminds me of "old age pills" using m&m candies. Each candy color was to "heal" a specific ailment (ha, which are real owies now as I age, tee hee). Your bottle is so pretty matchy matchy and I love that! Have fun!
