I Love School

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's that time again... Back to School. This year should be exciting because most places will be in person! My twin sister had to spend all last year being the virtual teacher for her district so I know she is looking forward to decorating her class room and giving hugs! This card using School Girl Avery was inspired by her amazing patience, kindness, and being the best teacher in the world.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Are your kids going back to in person school? With or without masks?
A: Me? I don't have kids ;(

Supplies:
Paper Nest Dolls School Girl Avery
Your Next Stamp School Paper Pad
Lawn Fawn Stitched Apple Dies

Challenges:
As You Like It Challenge: Favorite Primary Color- ALL OF THEM! Because they remind me of elementary school which was my favorite time of my life!

Yes, our kids are going in person. They will be without masks in their classes but with them in all other rooms.

My daughter is grown and I don't have any grandkids, so no school news here. Not sure what my local schools are doing.

  6. Many PSS parents here in Las Vegas are out picketing and protesting because their children are being required to wear masks at school. We all want the ultimate final say in what our kids do, etc. (so I get that point)....but when you send your kids to PSS, you do relinquish some of those rights. You're giving the system the right to do what THEY feel is in the best interest of your child(ren). They always have the right to homeschool, virtual school, etc. And...with ALL the (much) bigger things happening in our world right now that ultimately effect your kids in a negative way, I just feel like there are FAR more important things to protest. Just saying. OK...my rant is over (lol). BTW...our kids are grown and grandkids are homeschooled. Back to crafting.

  7. Cute card!!! My children are adults now and we educated all four of them at home. Three are college grads and the fourth one is in process. We are in a state where the governor has mandated no masks in the schools and our county is only 34% vaccinated. I think both are ludicrous!
