56 Years of Love: A Card Inspired by My Parents Wedding Day

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is a very special day, my parents are celebrating 56 wonderful years of marriage! To honor their anniversary, I created this card inspired by one of my favorite photos from their wedding day. I colored the sweet Lili of the Valley Raise a Glass Wedding Couple to honor their wedding day. I paired with Thermoweb Color Harmony Shades of Gold foiling on Thermoweb Toner Card Fronts Fresh Floral with a  soft yellow background, and a heartfelt anniversary sentiment, this card celebrates not only the day they were married, but the incredible life they've built together over the past 56 years.

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad! Here's to a love story that continues to inspire our family every single day.

I created my background by using Distress Oxide Mustard Seed Ink on the Thermoweb Toner Card Front then using a microfiber cloth to get the ink off the floral toner bits. Next, I ran the card front through my Gina K Fuse Laminating Machine with a sheet of gold Thermoweb DecoFoil from the Color Harmony Shades of Gold.

I used Thermoweb 3D Foam Squares to to make the couple pops from the heart background.

Supplies:
Thermoweb 3D Foam Squares
