Halloween Costume Time with Digi Doodle Studios! Idea #1: Babette Butterfly

Hi Crafty Friends,
Have you decided what you are going to be for Halloween yet? If not, my NEXT two Digi Doodle Studio Posts are here to inspire you! This is the first one, Meet Babette Butterfly! I was a butterfly for Halloween in Kindergarten and it was one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE costumes because I got to wear the rainbow sparkly wig (see below). I am seriously considering busting it out of storage and being a butterfly again this year!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What were you for Halloween in Kindergarten? Can you remember?
A: Me? Butterfly!

  1. What a cute butterfly!
    I didn't go to kindergarten
but we were mostly bums as
    it was cold most Halloweens
    and we dressed warmly.

  2. Cute butterfly costume!
I don't remember what costume I wore. I know my daughter was Tinkerbell when she was in preschool and I made most of her costume, along with my Peter Pan costume! That was my favorite Halloween year!

  3. This card is just so precious! I think I was Casper the friendly ghost for Halloween when I was in Kindergarten.

  4. Cute butterfly card and photos. I can't remember what I dressed as in kindergarten--maybe a cat.

  6. Love the background paper with all the different checkers on the butterflies and your image looks like the queen of the butterflies, great coloring and layout of your card. I know we went trick and treating each year; but I can't remember any of them that young, and didn't come across any photos or slides when going through my mom and dad's pictures. Today's age is just so much better for photo memories. Thanks again for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Use Your Stuff.

  10. Beautiful colors, Meghan! How special that it resembles your own butterfly costume. There was no kindergarten where I lived but I remember my first Halloween costume was Alice in Wonderland sewn by Grandma. (My sister wore it ten years later.) Thank you for joining us at Double Trouble.
