Christmas Cookies with Mrs. Claus

Hi Crafty Friends,
Have you made your Christmas Cookies yet? I haven't! I don't really like cookies. The only ones I like are my mom's Candy Cane Sugar Cookies and this year she and my dad are going to Ireland to visit my brother so I'm not going to get any ;(. This darling Mrs. Claus is by Paper Nest Dolls called North Pole Mini Mrs. Claus. I created my own cookies out of Kat Scrappiness Distressed Circle Dies and Nuvo Drops!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you make Christmas Cookies? Which kind?
A: Me? Only if I have to go to a cookie exchange

  1. It's been years since we did a production
bake. My daughter and granddaughter and
my husband would get together and bake
5 or 6 types of cookies. We passed them
out to the older generation, as well as
having our own. Now everybody is so
busy and a lot of the recipients have
passed, so that tradition has stopped.
I make a couple batches of sour cream
cookies and buy the rest at a cookie
sale at church. Mrs Claus looks great.

  2. Cute card and pics! Love the creative cookies you made with the distress circle dies!
I usually make several kinds... Almond Bars, Snowballs, Spritz. None so far this year! Just have not felt like baking, and if I bake them, I eat them! :(

  3. Adorable card. I love cookies but try not to eat them any more but I will bake with the grandchildren--only problem is one child is gluten free so it is harder to do.

  9. I'll be baking cookies all week starting with Danish shortbread cookies called Finsk Brød and gingerbread men, of course! The candy cane cookies sound delicious.

I love your Mrs. Claus image and you chose the perfect background paper to go with her! Thanks for sharing your Anything Goes Christmas project with us at Cut it Up. Merry Christmas!
