  2. Oh I love your card. Those are the cutest owl images I have seen. Once I get more markers I may have to get those cute images. I love owls and collect owls. Yes I have seen some owls. We have 60 something acres of land. So there are several Owls.

  4. WE have GREAT GRAY OWLS near our house!! These are a very sought-after "holy grail" for many birders. I have seen three at a time on my next-door neighbor's roof while I was standing in my back yard. These are the largest owls in the world...by length, but not by weight. THEY ARE SO COOL!!!!

I am on an Inland-NW birding e-list and each year several people contact me from all over the northwest to come see these awesome owls that are common in our particular area. The owls are amazingly unafraid of people and are active even in the early and late daylight hours so they are very easy to observe. Although huge, they are relatively light-weight and only hunt rodents...so they are kitty-cat friendly. <3

Love your sweet owl card, Meghan!!

  5. This is so very precious! I love owls (all birdies, really!). And yes, I see them … burrowing owls, all the time. We have a big field where they have several nests/underground burrows that are roped off since they are a protected species. I drive by every chance I get! lol

  6. What adorable owls! Love your card!
I have seen an owl. We had one living in a huge oak tree in our neighborhood, and we'd ride our bikes over to look for him!

  9. I love owls and have seen them only a few times. Once in a tree, and twice flying overhead at night in the forest. SOOOOO awesome!

  10. These cute little owls are so squeezable! I've heard owls many times, and we even have one who perches in a tree right by my house. I've seen him at night on occasion, when he's silhouetted by the moon...and we hear him all the time.

  11. Cute, cute, cute! Love your little owls and the tall style of this card! Love your gorgeous backgrounds and fun owl puns! Yes, I think I have seen owls in the wild once or twice but it's been a while. Last year I heard a Barred Owl in our backyard - they have a very distinctive call!

  12. Love the chubby owls. I don't
think I've seen one in the wild.
I used to hear one during the
    summer nights when I'd have
    the windows open. Haven't
heard him in a long time.
