Hot Cocoa Gnomies

Hi Crafty Friends,
Have you been enjoying Hot Cocoa this month? These cute gnomes from Digi Doodle Studios called Hot Cocoa Gnomies certainly are! I created a sparkly background for them using Newton's Nook Mugs Stencil and red glitter paste. I am entering this card in for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Guest Design contest for National Hot Cocoa Day.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite brand of hot chocolate?
A: Me? I don't like chocolate but if I had to choose it would be Nestle's from back in the day!

  1. I love the stenciled background and the way you colored the gnomes! Fun card!
I have been making hot cocoa from the Hershey's can of cocoa powder. It's very easy and you can adjust the amount of sugar you add. It just takes cocoa, sugar, a dash a salt and a little vanilla extract added to the heated cup of milk.

  11. These colors are terrific... look at those cheeks...boop!! Right?! I'm in love with the gnomie and all their antics. Not often, but I use unsweetened cocoa powder and sweetener in hot milk. Sounds good right now. (((Hugs)))
