  1. So beautiful layered flowers! Sure they are addictive

  2. Gorgeous cards Meghan! I like layering stamps but haven't dome it for a while. Altenew are amazing aren't they. I'm sat sitting here in windy and chilly England, using a new (to me) product from Altenew. It's their die cut 'Vibrant Spray' tape - a massive cheat (which I seem to be good at!) but a terrific way to whip up a set of cards ready to enclose with Playground prizes. When we're finally allowed out of self isolation of course.Ha, Dudley missed that it was a special day for Doggie Moms. We shall be having words! Love to you and dearest Maddie. Di xx

  3. Beautiful cards with these pretty morning glories! I have a few layering sets and love the effect. I have quite a few inks to choose from, so not particularly using any brand, just whatever I have in colors that coordinate well.

  4. Very pretty. I used to have blue morning glories in my garden for years. I have some Altenew layering stamps, and have used them, but they take a long time to use. Some have many layers, and it is sort of difficult to figure out which stamps to use in which order, and which way to turn them. The first set I got didn't have the numbers/letters to help out. I think that I like to color the flowers myself, rather than using layering stamps. But maybe I just need to try them out again.

  5. Both are so beautiful Meghan! I especially love the flowers stamped in blue! I've used a couple layering stamp sets from Stampin Up before and more recently non floral ones from Hero Arts. While they aren't my favorites to work with, they do make gorgeous cards! I don't use any special inks with them, just my regular inks (Distress inks/oxides or stampin up).
Thank you so much for joining in again at my Crafty Wednesday challenge this month where it's all about feminine creations!

  7. I'm with you on the layering sets ... I do have a couple of Altenew's flower layering sets and I think I tried it once or twice. I think I just need to practice more! You did a great job on yours. I have a lot of Altenew's inks, too, which I love for dye inks. And of course, distress inks for most things.

  9. Both of your cards are beautiful. I love layering stamps. I used a layering stamp for the card I made my Mom. I don't know if I could do the layering as well if I didn't have a Misti. I only have Stampin Up Inks.

  10. Wow, I love this stamp in both colors but haven't tried a layering stamp yet. I don't have that many ink pads so finding 3 that coordinate will be tough. I'll have to borrow some from my mom once this lock down is over.

  11. Purple flowers are my favorite! I have a few layering stamps, I can't say I love them. I need to practice more and get coordinating inks, then I would probably have better luck!

  12. Nice rich flower colors and the layering gives so much depth. I love stamps like that. So exciting to watch the build. I too love Altenew and have many. I use Memento inks. For me they give clean, crisp results.

  22. Beautiful cards. Love the morning glories so much! I just got my first layer stamp, so time will tell as I use my greatly assorted whatever were on sale inks in the future.

  23. Nicely done. I do have quite a few layering stamps. Some of them are not very hard to line up and those are the ones I like and use most often. Then there are the more complicated ones that look so pretty and when I see the illustrators do them they look so easy but not when I do it. Ugh! Inks I use varies but I do like the Altenew color mini sets that work great in shades of one color.
